Since 1978, the year Mr. Sanocki was first admitted to practice law in the State of New York, he has successfully tried and settled countless cases. His areas of specialty include medical malpractice, products liability, automobile accidents and construction accidents.

Recognized and respected by both judges and attorneys as a powerful advocate on behalf of his clients, Mr. Sanocki has successfully achieved innumerable million-dollar and multi-million-dollar recoveries.

As there are far too many successes to list, below are a few of the results Mr. Sanocki has achieved during his career that were among the top verdicts in New York State:

–  $50,000,000.00 verdict for an obstetrical malpractice case involving injuries that required multiple surgeries to a mother after a negligent vaginal delivery and repair of a 4th degree laceration;

–  $9,600,000.00 verdict for neurological negligence in failing to properly treat an evolving stroke;

–  $3,200,000.00 verdict for neurosurgical malpractice resulting in partial blindness when attempting to remove a benign tumor.

Mr. Sanocki, with partner, Ira Newman, both acting as co-lead counsels, attained numerous successful outcomes, including the following:

– $62,000,000.00 verdict in a surgical malpractice case involving bowel perforation during a gynecological laparoscopic surgery that was undiagnosed, causing infection and resulting in the amputation of both legs;

– $32,500,000.00 verdict in a motor vehicle accident case involving a police van that struck a 13-year-old boy who was crossing the street against the light and suffered serious burn injuries due to the hot engine while he was trapped under the van.

In addition, Mr. Sanocki has successfully represented clients in negligently performed surgery cases, failure to diagnose cancer cases, Erb’s palsy cases, stroke cases, cardiac cases and many more.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Sanocki has achieved recognition for his trial successes. He has frequently been listed in the New York Law Journal’s annual publication of “Top Medical Malpractice Verdicts” as a trial attorney who obtained some of the highest awards for his clients. A number of his verdicts have been featured as the “Verdict of the Month” in the New York Jury Verdict Reporter. Mr. Sanocki and his firm were honored as recipients of the 2014 Litigator Award (awarded to less than 1% of all lawyers) and named to the New York Law Journal N.Y. Verdict Search Verdicts and Settlements Hall of Fame for Medical Malpractice. Mr. Sanocki has also been selected to Super Lawyers since 2015 and selected to America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators.

An Emeritus member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers, Mr. Sanocki has lectured extensively on the subject of trial advocacy and personal injury litigation. These lectures have covered a broad range of topics including  “Recent Decisions” and “Jury Selection” seminars for the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute. His extensive knowledge and skill earned him speaking engagements before the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Mississippi Trial Lawyers, and the New York State Bar Association on various trial topics from “Effective Opening Statements” to “Summations.” He spoke on “Legal Night” at the Hall of Justice in Harlem for the National Action Network.

Besides lecturing, Mr. Sanocki was asked to contribute an educational article in Europe on the subject of “Medical Malpractice,” which was featured on the front page of the Albanian Journal newspaper and which appeared in the Health Section of that publication.
